Flower Power of the ’60s and ’70s With The Peter Apo Band at Blue Note Hawaii

Located inside Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Blue Note Hawaii features a year-round lineup of musical entertainment – from local talent to international sensations – for limited engagements.
The Peter Apo Band makes their Blue Note Hawaii debut with a special themed show focused on the music of the Love Generation – the ’60s and ’70s. The days of the flower children, flower power, the peace sign and the music of Bob Dylan, Peter, Paul & Mary, Kingston Trio, John Denver, The Eagles, The Byrds, James Taylor and more. Join us for a great evening traveleing down memory lane on a musical journey recapturing the music of the generation that changed America.
Peter Apo is an award-winning Native Hawaiian folksinger-songwriter and the leadeer of The Peter Apo Band. His performance style is intimate, up-close and personal, engaging audiences in the relaxed tradition of a folksinger-storyteller. His eclectic mix of songs takes listeners on a delightful ramble through a wide range of song styles and topical themes.
