Located inside Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, Blue Note Hawaii features a year-round lineup of musical entertainment – from local talent to international sensations – for limited engagements.

Originally formed in Dayton, Ohio in 1959, the Ohio Players — reflecting its members’ self -perceptions as musicians and as ladies’ men — have had a myriad of members throughout the bands illustrious lifespan.

The Players have had seven Top 40 hits, including “Fire” — No. 1 on both the R&B and pop chart for two weeks and one week respectively in February 1975 — and “Love Rollercoaster” — No. 1 on both the R&B and pop charts; their second gold record recipient.
