50th Annual Ukulele Festival Hawaii

Celebrating five decades of sharing Hawaii’s icon of aloha with the world, America’s first and largest ‘ukulele festival returns to Waikiki this summer with a commemorative Golden Anniversary event, bringing together more than 10,000 people to salute the Islands’ most revered instrument.
The 50th Annual Ukulele Festival Hawaii is set for Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kapiolani Park. Presented by Tony Group Autoplex, the 2020 Ukulele Festival Hawaii will feature a line-up of masterful musicians and groups from around the world, including former students of Festival Founder Roy Sakuma who became notable artists such as ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro. Other attractions include the Roy Sakuma 600-piece ‘Ukulele Band composed of children and adults, and festival offerings such as free ‘ukulele lessons, ‘ukulele displays and giveaways by ‘ukulele manufacturers, food booths, keiki (children) activity booths and Ukulele Festival souvenir t-shirts available for sale Additionally, an extensive selection of past festival t-shirts will be on display for public viewing.
