All eyes will be on Ellen DeGeneres tomorrow when she debut's on "American Idol"; taking over Paula Abdul's spot who quit last summer over a contract dispute. Ellen's expected to bring in the viewers but can she get viewers to stay? Audiences have slipped; in 2006, there were about 30.8 million per each episode a week. 2010 viewership is currently down three percent with an average of 26.8 million compared to 2009's opening weeks, according to Fox. Idol's also up against CBS's popular crime series "NCIS", and for the first time in years, the Grammy Awards just last month drew a bigger TV audience than "Idol". Ellen has said she aims to be the voice of the viewer at home. We'll see tomorrow...you be the judge on the newest judge.
